The Construction Industry Environmental Forum (CIEF) is hosting a rainwater harvesting workshop on 12 September in London. The half-day event starts at 2pm at CIRIA's premises in Old Street; delegates need to register by 5 September. They can do so via www.cief.org.uk
The organisers describe rainwater harvesting as 'an old solution to new water supply problems', and say that 'This workshop will explore the role potentially to be played by rainwater harvesting in addressing the medium to long-term water supply situation in the UK. Spekaers include representatives of the Environment Agency and the housebuilding industry.
Attendance is free to core members of CIEF or CIRIA, but costs £80 plus VAT to others.
